"What is a good THCa percentage?" depends on what you are buying. A good number for flower looks nothing like a good number for a concentrate. Here are the real ranges from the lab numbers on our own listings.
THCa percentages by product type
| Product | Our current range | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Flower | 27.3% to 31.8% | El Chivo Smalls, 31.8% |
| Infused pre-rolls | 40.9% to 49.2% | 1.25g Hybrid, 49.2% |
| Badder | 75.4% to 88.1% | Log Cabin, 88.12% |
| Crumble | 82.3% to 90.5% | Pineapple Express, 90.46% |
| Sugar diamonds | 91.3% to 94.9% | Lemon Burst, 94.9% |
These are the numbers on our product pages as of October 2026. Each batch is tested, so a strain's number can change when a new batch comes in.
So what is a good THCa percentage?
Compare like with like. A flower at 30% THCa is near the top of our flower range. A concentrate at 30% would be very low. Use the range for the product you are buying, not one number for everything.
Does a higher percentage mean better?
A higher THCa percentage means more THCa per gram. It does not tell you the flavor or aroma. That is why every listing also shows the strain's aroma and flavor, its type (indica-dominant, sativa-dominant, or hybrid), and its genetics.
Is THCa psychoactive?
THCa turns into delta-9 THC when it is heated. Our flower and concentrates are made to be smoked, vaped, or dabbed. For more on how the two compare, read THCa vs THC.
