What are small buds?
Small buds, usually called "smalls," are smaller THCa flower buds. They come from the same plant as the bigger buds. They are just smaller.
That is why smalls cost less. Big, picture-perfect buds look better in a jar, and people pay for that look. Smalls are the same flower in a smaller size.
Smalls vs big buds: what actually changes
Size and look. Smalls are smaller. You will not get the giant single nugs you see in a top shelf jar.
Price. This is the reason most people buy them. You get more grams for your money.
Potency and flavor. These depend on the strain, not on bud size. Each bag lists its THCa percentage, so you can compare strains by the numbers.
Are THCa smalls lower quality?
No. "Smalls" describes bud size, not grade. Ours are California-sourced indoor flower, the same standard as the rest of our flower.
If you want the biggest, best-looking buds, our Reserve flower is the top shelf option. If you smoke every day and care more about value, smalls are the smart buy.
What are micro smalls?
Now and then we drop limited micro batches. These are even smaller buds at our best price per gram. They come and go fast, so check the Smalls collection to see what is in stock.
What sizes do smalls come in?
Our THCa small buds come in 3.5g, 7g, 14g and 28g bags. A 3.5g bag (an eighth) is the easiest way to try a new strain. The 14g and 28g bags are the better deal per gram once you know what you like.
Want to try a few strains at once? The THCa Smalls 3-Pack lets you pick three different 3.5g bags.
